AR - Barry to Insert IBIS keywords into document Package parasitics should be either defined or contain NA NA NA. Discussion about what are reasonable Values for R,L,C_pkg. Bob Ross will attempt to lift limit values out of the parser for IQ use otherwise authors values will be utilized. R,L,C_PKG NA NA NA may be appropriate when an IBIS model is a library part and the package type is unknown. (NA's are legal per the IBIS spec) Pin section is optional. Lift wording out of spec for requirements We will not expend significant effort on external package models because they are rarely used. If models called out the models must be provided. Level 0 looks good with some minor Updates AR - Barry to Update and provide to Bob to Post on Website Went through Component section If a part is a library model, IQ recommends 1 pin definition for every model. In this case name the pin, signal name and model name consistently. Discussed Diff pin Section Discussed the need (particularly in MECL) to call a true and different compliment model. Presently the parser does not allow this. AR - Bob to Confirm two different model (differential true, compliment) calls causes an error or warning in parser. This should be considered an IBIS parser bug - all agreed. - Sample of file date header; FILENAME: IQ_1_0_quality_summary.txt Rev 0.1 2/18/03 Initial Release KH - Plans for next meeting Continue review of component_section.txt - Schedule for next meeting March 11, 2003 9-10 AM EST (6-7 AM PST) Phone: 408-974-8478 or 800-249-5618 Meeting access: CONFERENCE SERVER 1, Conference ID: 54644 Meeting ended at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- IBIS Quality website: http://www.sisoft.com/ibis-quality IBIS Quality archives: http://www.freelists.org/archives/ibis-quality To unsubscribe send an email: To: ibis-quality-request@freelists.org Subject: unsubscribe
